Li Yanpin, female, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU), vice president of Henan Energy Enterprises Association, vice president of European and American Friendship Association of NCWU, head of the general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and expert in the evaluation of the NSFC projects.
In recent years, she has been engaged in the research of key technologies of clean energy and pumped storage power plants under the goals of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutral", the economic operation of hydropower plants, the performance optimization, testing and diagnosis of hydropower units, and the research and development of fluid machinery for waste energy recovery. She has undertaken 1 project of NSFC, 1 project of Ministry of Science and Technology, 2 projects of Provincial Introducing Intelligence Program, 1 project of Postdoctoral Foundation, 1 project of Science and Technology Breakthrough Project of Zhengzhou City, and more than 10 projects of Enterprise Breakthrough Project. She has obtained 46 national invention patents, published 56 papers (of which 28 are SCI/EI indexed), written 1 book, and trained 2 doctoral students and more than 30 master's students. She is responsible for postgraduate courses such as "Fault Diagnosis and Condition Monitoring of Hydropower Units" and "Utilization of Hydraulic Energy", as well as undergraduate courses such as "Utilization of Hydraulic Energy", "Electromotor Engineering" and "Computerized Supervision and Control of Hydropower Plants".
